I think the answer to that is 'hidden' in the report. Let's say no more!

In reply to Morgan Woods: I suspect they didn't use the normal descent path...

In reply to Mick Ryan - UKClimbing.com: Aha. I understand. You mean a very rapid descent.

Cool. What's the fine for coming down that way at the moment.

Surely simul-climbing? Unless they were climbing with a norwegian.

aaah! just got what you mean.
In reply to Jack Geldard - Editor - UKC:

Good grief.

Is that horrible offwidth/standard 5.11 wide crack, as seen on the bagels film, above or below pitch 23, does anyone know?

My bet is they descended more rapidly than most.

I heard if you don't do this they might mistake you for a bear and open fire.

below? just looking at the topo, not from any personal experience

monster offwidth (5.11d?) is around pitch 19, also there's hollow flake (5.9, pitch 13ish) and a 5.10d offwidth headwall variation (pitch 32 or so), haven't seen the film though but sounds like monster offwidth? Not sure about exact pitch numbers as it's a combined salathe/freerider topo and slightly confusing with all the variations.
