In reply to UKC News: Has anyone been to Nesscliffe in the past week or so? Is it massively damp after all the rain or has it held out alright? Was wondering about a potential visit at the weekend.

Well, to quote an 'Urban dictionary' it means

Short for Skelmersdale.

1. A place kinda near liverpool.
2. A sh*t hole.
3. A place with f*ck all to do.

'F*cking hell, theres f*ck all to do in skem'
'Skem is a sh*t hole'

Says it all, I think!
