VIDEO: Neverending Story 8b+: Barbara Zangerl & Nina Caprez

In 2015, Austrian Barbara Zangerl and Swiss climber Nina Caprez made the third and fourth ascents of Beat Kammerlander's historic 450m Unendliche Geschichte (Neverending Story) 8b+ in Switzerland's Rätikon range. Established in 1990, the route was the hardest multipitch in the world at the time, and didn't receive a second ascent until 2005 by Pietro dal Pra.

A video has just been released of Barbara and Nina's ascents showing the committing nature of the line, with some stomach-turning runouts...

Fantastic. Amazing. Put up in 1990 and no repeats until 2005. Having seen the vid I can see why!
