In reply to UKC Gear:

So far a total of $6,355 has been raised to support this expedition.

It's a project well worthy of support; Paul lit up the climbing world in the late 1980s with a host of desperate slate routes and major lines at Gogarth, including Cure for a Sick Mind, The Enchanted Broccoli Garden and Super Calabrese.

Since his accident in Tasmania in 1998 Paul has tirelessly raised funds and awareness for people with disabilities, and filming this expedition across Tibet will further assist with this work.

You don't have to pledge any money - just go to the site and send the project your best wishes. I know these thoughts mean a lot to the expedition members!

If you do decide to pledge some of your hard-earned money, Paul and Carol have a number of thank you rewards, from mentions on the expedition blog, through signed DVD copies of the expedition DVD, postcards and posters, right up to Paul presenting the final expedition film at an event of your choice.

There's even an option for a date with Paul (for only $500) in Hobart, Tasmania. You'll need to make your own way there and back of course but it'd be well worth it.

Phil
