I found this to be a v inspiring film and a fantastic expose of what it takes to operate at adam's level. We're all used to hearing of adam's fast repeats and "effortless" on sights. It's very easy to presume that this stems from some unique natural talent, rather than many years of hard work - both mental and physical. This documentary goes some way towards bridging the gap between the media "myth" and the reality.
Agree that it takes a refreshingly different approach to the big up style productions. This also feels more in keeping with the content/subject; Adam being presented as a exceptionally talented "weekend warrior", rather than a "rad California dirtbag".
Only thing that was missing for me was footage from his uk trip/s. I presume that the most significant achievements took place after filming?
Out of the most recent batch of climbing films, I probably rank it slightly below mt asgard and long hope route. However, it's definitely worth a punt for the download.

For a couple of years now, the climbing world have been looking forward to The wizard's apprentice Petr Pavlíček's documentary about Adam Ondra, and now it's finally here. It was worth the wait.
