Ben Loyal is a superb mountain. We did a circuit from the north about a decade ago and it was obvious that there was loads of rock. At the highest point you're perched right on the edge of a big drop. We came down a very steep scramble - I think it's the ridge in front of Robbie's face where he's sitting in his bivvy cave - interesting! The clegs on the moorland approach were vicious (there and back!) but higher up no problem.
