Thanks for that very interesting article. Most mountaineering events of importance by women did not see exposure in the Alpine Journal of the Times, despite the performance of quite a few of them at this period of Alpine endeavour. Lucy Walker and Lily Bristow spring to mind. I'm unable to find any photograph of the latter climber although she was the photographer who took that famous pic of Mummery on the Grepon Crack.
