Will Sim and Greg Boswell in Alaska, 4 kbGreg Boswell and Will Sim have established two new lines above the Buckskin Glacier in the Central Alaska Range, named Beastiality and Shark Fishing. We have had limited email contact with the team, but some details have emerged.

Fabulous stuff - quite "out there"!

I just Google Earthed the Buckskin Glacier. There are some extremely impressive avalanche fans/surface moraines, about 2 km down from the Moose's tooth. When I say extremely, I, of course, mean EXTREMELY.

As an aside do you remember the route put up on the Moose's Tooth, Ham and Eggs? If we had any ham we could have ham and eggs, if we had any eggs...

That was a while ago - thus encouraged I hopped over to Mountain Project - some very droll stuff. In particular a route photo captioned "Red - up; blue - down; green - reliable gear." There are 8 green dots. In 3000 ft.

The fairview by night and the roadhouse by morning, makes getting out of the mountains twice as appealing. Some of the best nights (and most outrageous) I've ever had in there
