I'm an out but my climbing partner is an in. We are living proof that the two communities can live together in peace and harmony, even forming a productive relationships.

I rack gates in on the front loops and gates out on the back loop. I think that means I'm a bit weird.

Hate to undermine your feeling of being special but I do exactly the same. Just feels like the most natural way to clip and unclip to me.

Yes, gates out should only be on the right the harness. Gates in on the left.
