Hey

i mounted my brand new beastmaker 1000 to indoor brick wall and the left (top left) side creaks a bit when I hang. Is the natural flex in wood or bad mounting?

It's the mounting, beastmakers themselves don't creak.

It may or may not be a problem. At the very least, keep an eye on whether it gets worse over time and make sure your landing is padded with bouldering mats or something else just in case.

After I moved mine, the mounting creaked. It was alarming at first but it's had a few months use now, including with added weight and has shown no sign of getting worse. I still pad the landing though just in case. 

You're pulling too hard..

Perhaps mount it to thick ply before mounting it to the wall? That would support it better

Turns out my 60+ year old walls are not 100% flat or straight so the top left is a little bit away from the actual wall. Super thin door stop style piece of wood fixed the problem.

Bolts and wall are rock solid.
