We have just had a really successful trip to the peak climbing with my kids ( 4 and 7) and are looking to keep the momentum up when we head back to the Devon/Cornwall border. Most places I’ve looked at won’t take the 4 year old till he is 5. Anyone have any recommendations? 

Try the Barn in Milton Abbott.

They ‘re really friendly and do a kids club at the weekends. Not sure how young they would take your son in the club from, but definitely worth enquiring.

Alternatively if you are a competent belayer yourself you could just take your kids there without them being in the club sessions - I took my daughter when she was 2.

As KingHolmesy says, definitely worth enquiring at the Barn.

Plymouth Climbing Wall in the Life Centre  run classes for ages 4+

Try Quay Climbing Centre in Exeter. I believe it is 4+ on the clip and climb, 5+ on the sport walls.
