Following the controls with the pandemic the climbing wall at Penrith Leisure Centre is now fully open and operating normally. Route setting work has continued while the wall has been closed so there are lots of new routes of the usual high quality.
Please note the following:-
· Climbers can book a session at the wall by downloading the Better App or by using the Leisure Centre website.
· However, it is not necessary to book a session. Just turn up at the door and pay on entry. Payment is currently card only
· Capacity of the wall is currently set at 14 climbers. As the wall is rarely busy, this should not be a problem in gaining access.
· Wall sessions are nominally 2 hours. However, if the wall has not reached capacity, climbers can continue beyond this 2 hour limit.
