I just watched this video from Emil Abrahamsson where he does two short sessions a day for a month with some pretty impressive results. Has anyone tried something like this?

Yes.

In third week as part of an endurance phase. Adapting to your own fitness level is as always key, but the RPE (pulling rather than hanging) helps. Working well as maintenance.

Similar in concept to dave Mac's 10min fingers youtube.com/watch?v=-diYuavVqzE&t=776

Getting stronger? Who knows...

Interesting. Doesn't really contradict Emil's approach, mostly puts it into the context of a structured block training program.

A friend of mine has been trying this for the last month, am waiting to see what results he gets... Quite an interesting concept, if nothing else..

I do wonder, if higher volumes of lower effort hanging works miracles, why nobody ever comes back from an extended sport of trad trip feeling super strong - usually you get weaker but fitter and able to move more efficiently.
