I note the IFSC European Championship is on at Ratho on the weekend 4 - 6 October 2019.

Anyone know what the current thinking is on dates and venue for the BLCC?

I'm guessing it'll not also be on at Ratho that same weekend.

Unless it's a combined event? Presumably all who can compete in the BLCC are eligible for the Euros.

I'd have thought only climbers on the national teams would be eligible/selected/entered.

No. The BLCC's is an open event, the IFSC one is for those representing their countries. There was rumour of a possible date clash with an event, and this appears to be it!. Expect the BLCC to move to a different weekend, as it just isnt possible to run both simultaneously (quite apart from it being pointless.....)

Every day is a school day - I thought/assumed the BLCC had a qualifying procedure. Thanks for the education
