Indoor Climbing Radar device

Hi, 

A year or two back I noticed someone was doing R&D for a Radar device for indoor climbing walls with autobelay's that could detect if someone was climbing without the assigned karabiner leaving the station. 

Did this product disappear or does anyone know what it was?

Not sure, but the one I use to detect objects that reside below structures carrying roads, paths, etc. across rivers, roads, or other obstacles, still exists and is functioning well.
