Anyone got any experience with this?

Following an MRI this is what the Doc thinks it up with my painful knee, he seemed to think that climbing was just about the worst thing I could be doing on it.

Physio is now being arranged, I just wondered if anyone else had suffered from this and what happened.

I suffered with this after knee surgery. in the end a combination of persistent physio for rehab for the surgery, knee pad taping which basically helped lift the patella upwards (search for fat pad taping) and (some kind of steroid) injection sorted it out. It hasn't come back since. 

I hope the physio helps sort it out with you.
