Thinking of heading there tomorrow looking for good lead routes, what is it like in comparison to AW stockport/liverpool? Thanks

I think its just as good if not better!! Its warmer for a start and the grades seem to match the routes and are pretty consistant!! And there are plenty of long steep routes to lead!!We just spent the day there and had an wicked time, iv been loads of times, but the people i had with me were trying it for the first time and they also said they prefered it to awesome walls!!

Both walls are good for different things - AW has a good selection of long vertical lead routes whereas MCC lead walls are mostly steeper so you use different strengths / techniques at each.
I prefer the bouldering area at AW (its a bit roomier) but they both usually have some good problems set.
