I was wondering if anyone else experiences pain when straightening fingers. on my left ring finger only I get pain in/around the first knuckle. My GP tested for arthritis and something else with a blood test and that came back negative so I suspect mechanical causes. The pain has persisted for a couple of years at least. I'd cut back my bouldering it was getting worse or spreading to other fingers but it isn't. Naming my malady might induce me perform some corrective actions.
