Has anyone had occasion to use a climber friendly physio in the West Mids? Ideally Solihull/Coventry/Warwickshire side of things...

Hi Skyfall,

I am currently using Physio and Health Matters in Balsall Common for back pain (not climbing related). I couldn't say whether they are climber friendly or not, nor how they compare to other physios. They do seem pretty good though.

Hi - I used to use that practice quite a lot when I lived in BC, and they are quite good but not with any great knowledge of climbing related injuries (other than mine!). I wouldn't have said they were even particularly sports oriented at the time. However, it is still quite local to me. Who are you seeing there?

Dave Pinnington at Three Spires Physio is excellent. He climbs to a very high standard himself. However, he's in Lichfield and operates on a home visit basis within what I think is about a 20 mile radius. I don't know if that's practical for you.

I don't know if this is any use but Shaun at SMC sports physio is excellent but he is based in jewellery quarter centre of Birmingham.

I always go to see Uzo at Inside Edge Physiotherapy.  https://www.insideedgephysio.com/  He's based at Redpoint Climbing Centre in Brum. He's a climber himself, he understands how a climber's body works and he and really really knows his stuff.
