Can we Please have a winter climbing forum that does not mention you know what!  I nearly mentioned it but think I got away with it

I am looking forward to my visits to the Fannichs,Torridon and  Fisherfield as I do every winter with the occasional foray south to Kintail.  Will post regularly on conditions in the northwest Highlands. Here,s to a good winter to you all. !

I was guessing it was Beinn Udlaidh you didn't want mentioned, it's the Scottish equivalent of Kinder Downfall!

You know we're going to get one. It'll be amazing with fat ice everywhere.

Unfortunately it will coincide with travel to Scotland, Wales and Kinder being closed even to local residents.

I must admit I missed the annual "Let's nuke the CIC hut and exterminate the elitist SMC" thread this September.

Is that what you're referring to?

In reply to Removed User:

No that,s quite an acceptable topic. Babika has just ignored my plea however.

Ah yes that one.

Have you seen the berries on the Rowan trees? It's going to be a stonking winter.

In reply to Masters of Lunacy    It will all be irrelevant anyway as from January onward we`ll all be too busy queuing for food and essentials after the Borisbrakesitclusterfug   (Unless you eat Rowan Berries)
