The problem with the Cairngorms is the crag bases of the north facing cliffs in general aren't 'that' high and the climbs tend not to be based around neve and ice. This means at that time of year its likely that only the easy gullies will be in nick (unless its cold in which case the mixed stuff may come back in to reasonable turfy/rocky nick, ofcourse its possible it will be cold the whole of march and good conditions will persist in to april).
The Ben is normally a much better bet at that time of year.
