Hello folks, I was looking for the photo of that crazy cat on the end of a cornice on the Ben.

Maybe there's a rope going along the floor you can't see, up (the far side of his body) to his harness. Surely anyone who's gone to the effort of doing something that requires a helmet, wouldn't stand so far over on a cornice?

No, there was no rope. Henning thinks the man in question had probably just soloed something desperate. So the guy probably felt relatively safe peering over the edge of Observatory Gully.

Saw a guy doing something very similar on the northern edge of Easy Gulley on Aonach Mor during the 'meet formerly known as the UKC Glencoe picnic' this year... Scared the willies out of me...

Then there was the guy apparently digging a snow test pit in a rather large crack on the edge...
