Anyone been up Corrie Fee, or Winter Corrie in Glen Clova very recently? What are conditions like? Thinking of heading tomorrow but not sure if it'll be in nick..

In reply to Boydfest: there is a NP Rangers station and car park in Glen Doll just past our hut, these guys are out and about, and they may be prepared to give you an update on conditions. I don't have their number to hand though.

In reply to Jim C:

Cheers. For info conditions are not too bad, snow is in decent nick and avalanche risk minimal.

In reply to Boydfest: Was everyone alright in the Glen Clova area today? We were walking off Lochnagar when Rescue 137 popped up over the Muick-Gelder call heading over to Glen Clova area, before later appearing to make a bee-line for Aberdeen?

In reply to Boydfest:

Conditions were grand. Snow is well consolidated on the routes. Ice however not as good as it should. Too much running water under it.

Look C gully too thin.

Did B Gully with a reroute off to the right half way up waterfall pitch, due to ice on main route. Made it grade iv but good craic.

As we got back to carpark police and helicopter had just arrived MRT were on route, 3 trucks passed us as we left. They didn't say what was up, but a lot people out. Was not coire fee direction though
