Read in the guide book (Mike Pescod's) that abbing off after the difficulties on Italian Right Hand is an option and a quick shifty at the log books seems to suggest a lot of folks do this. But what are people abbing off? Is it an abalakov at the top of the ice or in-situ tat or what? With 60m ropes can you get back to the base of the route or are two abseils required?

Thanks in advance!

In reply to MrRiley: Bombers tat and nut, 60m will get you to the bottom of the whole thing.

In reply to MrRiley:
Can confirm bomber ab station at top of pitch2-guide before us split ab into 2 so we did same- using insitu gear at top of first pitch.

In reply to MrRiley: Bombshell is correct. It's a thread anchor at the top of Pitch 2 with some wires backing it up. 60m will get you to the foot of the climb and an easy pull for the ropes.
