Hi all, interested in current conditions for Ledge Route approach and initial slab/traverse.

I have the impression that lower No. 5 is hard snow and that lower ledge (usual start) may now be bare.

I’ve seen a couple ascents logged the last few days but no notes from the most recent.

Any recent info welcome - thanks.

In reply to mcawle: A mate and I climbed it on Wednesday. The approach up number 5 was good and solid, the traverse (higher) was in the sun and fairly soft by 11.30ish when we got on it but it’s well covered. The lower traverse was pretty much bare and didn’t look too inviting.
