Is there any point in having a look? Just seen a blog showing a fair bit of snow still holding in there yesterday, is it too optimistic to have a good at the weekend?
In reply to mijrob: always gonna have snow in the gully, but the icefall finish could be pretty thin.
The temps are up today and it's become very stormy.
For what is worth the last time I done Taxus there was barely any snow in West Gully at all. It was all turf and rocks but Taxus had good ice and neve.
I was on Beinn an Dothaidh last Wed during the good spell. There was hardly anything on Taxus then, and all the icy routes in the NE coire were incomplete. If Taxus has somehow fully formed itself in the meantime I'll eat my balaclava.
