Wild Country Product Preview - Spring/Summer 2021 Gear News

© Wild Country

As we approach the time of year where we are looking around to check out all the new gear coming out for SS21 we are faced with the realisation that this year will be slightly different. No international trade shows or brand sales meetings has meant the Outdoor Industry has had to rethink how it launches its now products to its customers.

Together with the rest of the brands from the Oberalp group Wild Country has engineered another first. A full 360 digital convention, complete with showroom and product videos from the designers (click here access it).

For Spring Summer 2020 Wild Country went back to its routes and brought back a reworked version of the Zero Friends and a fresh new range of Harnesses, Softgoods and Clothing which hit the UK shops in March.

For SS21 they have built on the existing range with 2 more harnesses, a redesign of an old favourite and a brand new design. Also coming out is a new alpine draw using Wild Country's tried and tested Wild Wire carabiner and finally slings are back in the range, two lengths for this year with the potential for more in the future. A new colour scheme for the existing Electron sport draw completes the new Technical hardware range

Alongside the new THW WC have added some new colours into the softgoods range and added new designs to the clothing.

Trying to decide if "went back to its routes" is a droll joke or a homophone typo? Sorry - it's just a nervous tick you develop after teaching long enough to think you will go mad if you see "there" written again when the kid meant "they're" (and has been told dozens of times to write "they are" anyway!). :)
