Rock Rags has set itself a mission - to stop boring mono-colour 'brand T's' taking over the world and bring some fun back to the increasingly po-faced, corporate climbing scene.
And, as we progress, to try to give a voice and a platform to other people: from artists who work in climbing to smaller brands that we come across within the climbing scene. We want to bring things to light that we like, stuff that may not get into stores, or just fun things that catch our attention. Proud to be a part of the ever-expanding climbing tribe, our aim is to provide a fresh, fun, and innovative take on this noble sport of ours!
We are psyched to be the exclusive home of Betamonkeys T shirts (www.betamonkeys.com). Working closely with Ed we've produced a selection of bright, fun T shirts based on his cult cartoons. Determined to do justice to the quality of Ed’s work, and to create outstanding T-shirts, we have chosen to use stand-out six and eight colour prints. Printed in Sheffield on organic cotton these are classic, colourful, climbing T shirts dosed with Ed's unique style!
Available in Men's and Women's fits, with free shipping in the UK, these should be the perfect Xmas gift for the climber in your life...(even if that's just you)!
We are also happy on our site to offer the cult Spanish brand of Belmez face. Making T shirts, jeans, hoodies and hats, this small underground company is a favourite of those 'in the know' in Spain. Avavilable with free shipping there's a superb selection of some very cool kit!
A new startup, we are online at www.rockrags.co.uk and our books and T shirts are starting to appear in your favourite shops and walls: Rock On, Cold Mountain Kit, The Climbing Station, Glasgow Wall, Rock and Run, Needlesports...
Finally, we are not a 'brand', we are a tiny company run by climbers, to make things for other climbers. Our ideal is to make designs that you’ll want to wear time and again, and to print them well so they have longevity, meaning they're more sustainable. We want to make T shirts to wear until they fall off your back, letting you make your own ‘rock rag’.
STOP PRESS - We've just published Ed's first book of cartoons 'The Evolution of Falling' at £10...
