Unparallel is one of the most exciting climbing shoe brands to land on the feet of climbers around the world in the last few years. These hand-built shoes are produced at the Californian factory over in Redlands, USA, where innovation and performance remains a total obsession for the product team. The team of shoe experts over there have 20+ years of specialist manufacturing experience, which is almost Unparallel anywhere in the world, considering they have worked with climbing, MTB and other outdoor sports.

What then really sets these shoes aside is that they are equipped with a high friction rubber compound that is fully engineered and processed in California. Unparallel (also commonly referred to as UP) became their own brand only last year, and despite their youth, its quick rise to power should come as no surprise taking into account who's behind the Southern California-based upstart.

Unparallel shoes was started by Sang Lee in 2017. A close friend of the founder of Five Ten, Lee handled development and production of Five Ten climbing and mountain bike shoes up until Adidas closed the Five Ten Redlands outlet in 2017 and ceased partnership with Lee's Fullerton-based factory. After parting ways with Five Ten, Lee started UP and brought along former employees for production in California and for a new UP gym in Redlands.

A full RS rubber sole and medium stiffness midsole provide the perfect combination of sensitivity, friction and aggression. The offset lacing system allows you to adjust to the perfect fit and provides extra surface area for toe hooks without sacrificing fit or function. UP LACE LOW VOLUME - EDGING & ALL-DAY COMFORT

The stiffest shoe in our line for the ultimate in precision footwork and edging capability. The fast lacing system allows for quick easy on/off and a perfect precise fit every time as well as added lace protection for foot jams when crack climbing. The full RH rubber sole and stiff midsole combination gives exceptional friction and versatility.

Our low volume option allows for a better fit with our female climbers, who without it may be left with "dead space" in the shoe and lower performance. The UP Lace is offered in both low and normal volume options.

The Regulus is our stiffest downturned shoe providing both comfort and absolute precision for a variety of terrain and styles of climbing. The unlined synthetic upper provides a super-comfortable feel on foot while maintaining a perfectly snug and secure fit.
