One of our biggest triumphs came with the Swift Protect Pro Dry, a triple rated 8.9mm rope with the cut resistance of a 10mm rope. This huge increase in durability was made possible by weaving Aramid into the sheath. This technology was such a huge success that for 2023 we have introduced it on our Eagle Lite Pro Dry 9.5mm sport rope.

Based on the proven construction of the Eagle Lite, we have developed a rope that is extremely durable. Making it ideal for projecting routes or climbing on abrasive rock types.

This increase in durability is made possible using our Protect technology, which incorporates high-strength aramid fibres into the sheath using a specially developed braiding process. This technology and the adjustment of other production parameters strengthen the sheath and increase the rope's cut resistance.

For a particularly compact and fine sheath structure, the Eagle Lite Protect Pro Dry is constructed on a braiding machine with 48 bobbins, which has a positive impact on handling and abrasion resistance.
