WINNER: spragglerocks

Meet DMM's 2016 rope range and be in with a chance of winning either a versatile Crux 9.1 mm or sport focused Zone 9.8 mm rope. The concise and clearly defined new range of dynamic ropes covers all eventualities, from indoor training at the wall to the most demanding alpine style ascents.

DMM ropes feature our ThermoControl heat treatment, which gives them their suppleness, durability and great handling characteristics. All the dry treated ropes meet the UIAA water repellency standard.

Different objectives call for different rope qualities and each one in the range has the optimum specification for its intended use.

For summer trad and winter use the Pitch 8.5 mm is a great all-round half rope. But if you're going fast and light in the Alps then you'll welcome the weight saving of the Couloir 8.00 mm.

The Orbit 9.6 mm is our do-it-all single rope, at home on sea-cliffs, ice-falls or sport climbing while the Zone 9.8 mm is a durable single rope for all round rock climbing.

The Crux 9.1 mm is our skinniest single rope and also comes with the versatility of triple certification. Ideal for crucial redpoints or long mountain days. Guides and instructors will welcome being to use it as either a half-rope or a single rope. The two colourways preventing any confusion with clients.

If you're looking for a rope ideally suited to wall use or for a first rope then look no further than the Statement 10.00 mm.
