The Big Mountain Weekend is back and better than ever! Taking place from the 3rd - 5th May at the Sticklebarn in Langdale to launch the Arc'teryx Lakeland Revival. The event aims to educate, share and improve skills necessary for enjoying the mountains and crags safely via a series of clinics.

The beautiful Langdale valley in the Lake District provides the perfect base for a weekend of climbing and outdoor clinics, live music, films, competitions, food and beer! The core climbing clinics will run as usual offering everything from beginners rock climbing to multi trad climbing. We also have the addition of nine new clinics, including:

The Langdale Climbing Challenge

On top of all this we will also be running the Langdale Climbing Challenge again. Anyone who would like to participate in this simply needs to pick up a suggested route card from us at the Sticklebarn base camp, climb to your hearts content and then return it to us at the end of the day. Everyone who takes part will receive a free special edition DMM Phantom wire gate carabiner.
