FUSEFRAME Technology

Fuseframe Technology © Petzl
This construction pushes the ENDOFRAME technology concept (doubled webbing for weight distribution, no crossing seams, wider waistbelt over hips) further, for even more comfort and lighter weight. The interior webbing on the waistbelt and leg loops, as well as the strength elements (tool-holder attachment), are integrated into the thin foam to avoid hard points along joints. Further, a thin piece of fabric is fused with the foam of the waistbelt for better weight bearing. All this gives the harnesses smooth and clean exterior surfaces without adding thickness, in order to offer better resistance to abrasion. FUSEFRAME technology allows the HIRUNDOS and AQUILA harnesses to benefit from a clean, quality design that is light and comfortable.
