The Boreal Diabolo is a superbly versatile shoe with a great compromise between comfort and technical performance. Precise enough for mid to high grade climbing yet comfortable enough to wear for prolonged periods.

The asymmetric forefoot shape of the Diabolo focuses ample power on the big toe whilst the forefoot remains flat for more comfort and better versatility on a variety of angles of terrain. A rubber tension rand across the toebox holds the forefoot securely and is particularly helpful when using small footholds on the inside and outside edges of the shoe.

The heel cup is reinforced with a moulded rubber piece which extends around the back of the heel. The extra rubber here gives protection to the back of the heel when heel hooking whilst providing great grip.

The upper is made from a mixture of synthetic leather (Lorica) and premium quality (European sourced) natural suede with a double Velcro fastening.

Ultra reliable and sticky FS-Quattro rubber (4.0 – 4.6mm) completes the package.

The Diabola is the dedicated women’s fit version of the Diabolo and uses a slimmer last shape to better suit the average foot morphology of the female foot.
