Sales Representative – UK South
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional and experienced Sales Representative to work nationally and independently as part of our expanding sales team. The role will primarily be based in the south of the United Kingdom and will involve working independently on the road maintaining and growing our Arborist & Climbing markets.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in both the Arborist and Climbing industry and have a working knowledge of the systems and techniques needed for both tree work and rock climbing.
The role will most likely suit someone based in the south of the UK who will largely work remotely from our base in Llanberis. This will need a self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to improving customer service, achieving targets and delivering growth.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Increase business with both existing and prospective customers through a relationship based approach
- Demonstrate products and services to existing and potential customers whilst assisting them in selecting those best suited for their needs
- Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential
- Prepare clear and effective written proposals or quotations for current and prospective customers
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
- Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting and logistic teams
- Plan and organise personal sales strategy by maximising the return on time invested
- Provide management with oral and written reports
- Attend customer events and trade shows
Essential to your success in the role will be the ability to demonstrate
- Proven track record of at least 2 years sales experience in the Arborist and Climbing industries
- Self-motivated and driven
- Successfully working both in a team and on own initiative
- Good communication skills both with customers and colleagues
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Driver with a full clean car licence
