Metolius Torque Nut Tool Gear News

© Metolius

The Metolius Freenut tool was a classic design, with super strong high grade steel constuction, integrated wiregate clip and palm protector. For 2011, Metolius have updated this design and added some innovative new features.

The body of the tool now includes built in wrenches for 13mm, 17mm, 7/16", 1/2" and 9/16" bolt heads- the most commonly used sizes on US, UK and European bolts.

This means your tool can now be used on both trad and sport climbs- if you come across a loose bolt it can be quickly tightened on route.

The hardened 420 stainless steel body with tapered nose still allows the extraction of the tiniest nuts, and the unique curved design lets you get behind the nut to hook and pull.

The Torque then retains the best features from the freenut- a wide palm protector and integrated wiregate karabiner.
