The Grivel A&D Ascender & Descender is brand new for Autumn 2014 and incorporates a revolutionary and innovative patented system which features an in-built descender allowing for quick and safe transitions from heading up to going back down the rope. 

The multi-function right or left handed device utilises an integrated belay plate which allows for a safe descent and negates needing to change device. Its ergonomic rubber grip ensures for easy comfortable handling and utilising lightweight materials means the A&D is seriously light weight.

Can you really just flick the cam off the rope when fully weighted to go into descend mode? That's either very clever or lethal; I can't decide which. Anyone had a play?
