The new Scarpa Vapour (lace up) might seem like the same shoe as the new Scarpa Vapour V (velcro) with a different fastening - in fact they are very different models. True, both are all-round high performance rock shoes offering precision, sensitivity and power, and an asymmetric, moderately down turned shape to offer great instant comfort. The difference is in the rubber.

While the Scarpa Vapour V (velcro) features innovative NEW Vibram XS GRIP 2 rubber, designed to be super-sticky and take friction to a new level, the Scarpa Vapour (lace up) features equally innovative NEW Vibram XS EDGE rubber, designed to offer outstanding support and stability for edging and durability.
