The Stealth® C4™ outsole makes the Gambit an ideal, all-around shoe. The leather upper is lined with cotton to ensure a comfortable, no-stretch fit. Available in a VCS or lace-up model.

This looked exactly the type of shoe I was looking for, so allied to 5.10s reputation for excellent rubber I decided to give these a go. But trying them on in the shop it became apparent that they were for a far narrower foot shape than I have. I couldn't get 41s on and the 42s were crushingly tight across my forefoot but already had dead space beyond my toes AND heel! So they look nice for slim footed types after an all round shoe but for those of us with wide feet, look elsewhere. In over two decades I've never bought 5.10 rock shoes because when ever I'm shopping and trying different models on, they just don't suit my feet. Anyone else found this with 5.10? It's a bit annoying as some people claim the rubber is noticeably better than on other shoes but I've never been able to find out!
