Overview

Very nice, climbing orientated camp site. There is enough space for around 100 tents plus extra space in bungalows and the barn. It's right in the middle of the Frankenjura with loads of crags in walking distance and shops in nearby towns. There are toilets, showers, sinks, a fridge, a common room and an ice cold stream to keep your drinks cool. Oma Eichler (the lovely manager of the camp site) sells freshly baked, delicious cake and other necessities; even climbing guides though there are copies in the reception room for everyone to have a look at. Fresh rolls for breakfast, coffee and fish (depending on the season) are offered as well.
