Camping fees from £3.00 per person per night. Indoor accomodation in the Cottage from £125 per night (sleeps up to 20 persons) and Farmhouse from £210 per night (sleeps up to 43 persons)
Gradbach Scout Camp is open to members of the Scout Association and other youth groups, schools and clubs. Gradbach is located on the western edge of the Peak District National Park, nestled in the upper reaches of the Dane Valley, on the borders of Derbyshire, Cheshire and Staffordshire. The campsite is located close to both Buxton and Leek, but because of the nature of the Peak District countryside it appears to be in a world of its own!
The campsite is ideally situated for most Peak District activities including climbing, walking and caving and is a much used stopover point for Scout and Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditions, as well as longer troop or patrol camps.
The Farmhouse and Cottage buildings have been converted into indoor accommodation and are ideal as a base for indoor and outdoor activities. Both of the buildings are suitable for all sections from Beaver sleepovers, through Cub pack holidays to Scout and Explorer camps. The Rover Den is also converted for indoor accommodation and is used as the Camp Headquarters and ‘home’ of the site service crew.
