We are the Mountaineering club of Liverpool University!

A welcoming bunch of people that likes rocks and walking (over big rocks). Come join us!

LUMC (Liverpool University Mountaineering Club) was founded in 1930 as the UOLRCC. Since then, the club has expanded a lot and now includes Hiking, all types of climbing (apart from speed "climbing") and provides a friendly, relaxed social community. We run frequent climbing and hiking trips all over the UK, and have a yearly bouldering focused trip to Fontainbleu in France. When we're not travelling around, we run an indoor bouldering session at the Climbing Hangar in Sandhills every Monday from 6pm, and an indoor roped climbing session at Awesome Walls every Wednesday from 2pm.

If you're a member of the University of Liverpool you can get a membership through the Athletic Union, or come along to a climbing session and say hi!
