I have climbed at several centres throughout the uk and have to say avw comes out tops for quality of routes and the frequency they are refreshed. Not the highest but they make up for that with the quality of routes. If you cant get out then get in to avw. Rarely have to wait for a route even in bleakest mid-winter and the staff are always willing and helpful

TOOK THE INTRO COURSE , THE STAFF ARE GREAT AND VERY HELPFULL THE CLIMBS RANGE FROM ONES BEGINNERS OR STARTERS LIKE MYSELF CAN MANAGE TO ONES I CANT EVEN IMAGINE HOW A SPIDER COULD CLIMB. I AM TAKING MY KIDS THERE TO LEARN A DONT THINK YOU COULD FIND A BETTER PLACE OR MORE FRIENDLY STAFF

Good facility with plenty of routes to climb. Currently extending climbing area and boldering area, work has had little effect on amount of climbing on offer. Downside like all other walls come winter time is that it can get TO busy, sometimes waiting to climb routes. Price is a little on the steep side compared to other centres I've been to, however as I have stated good climbing with more on the way.
