Overview
Part of the North Kesteven Leisure centre, in an old squash court.13 top ropes with 2 routes on each rope, graded from 2A to 7B apparently. Two overhangs and a step.
Lead is available but you need your own gear.
No solo climbing.

Nanny state has won, rang Tuesday 17th Jan 06 was told that the wall has not been maintained, there was no one qualified to supervise, there was no insurance. But if I had my own insurance, kit and ropes I could use it!!!!
You try booking. My 6 year old lad has been once to the Xscape wall Castleford and is hooked. To quote him "it rocks"

This wall is now closed by the nanny state. I didn't know this but it appears that I have been participating in a dangerous sport for the last 30 years! Bugger! If only I'd kown, I'd have taken up reading.

I visited this place on 17 Feb 04 and they told me that it wasn't open to the public. This may be a temporary thing, I would call before visiting.
