The first Arch Climbing Wall was opened in 2008, in the railway arches underneath London Bridge station by a climber from London and some friends. Years later, we still have the same idea – to provide a friendly, happy climbing environment for anyone to escape into for a few hours.
We’re currently opening new centres across London, each with their own distinct character, near tube stations, all under one shared membership. We offer a full range of courses from Introduction Lessons up to guest Masterclass events, including our free regular drop-in Improver Sessions. We also host our #TAMRU events, which raises over £500 each month for UK charities.
Notbing more to add to the above comment, but I wanted to add a perspective for anyone wanting to take their kids. The beginner's circuit (V0) is excellent, and there are more than enough problems for a session, but kids under 8 years may struggle with the reaches. There are also gym rings and pull-up bars, and shoe hire is included in the price of admission.
As it is right now this must be one of the best commercial bouldering walls in England.Very good mix of angles, great training area and very good problem setting using both local and national problem setters.
This is a great addition to London climbing.
