Overview

Freeborn Climbing provides specialist rock climbing courses on the Dorset coast as well as mountaineering courses, instructor training courses and outdoor centre services. We also offer group climbing sessions aimed at stag and hens, families and corporate events.

We offer courses whether you are a beginner, wish to learn to lead or instruct.
Our rock courses include intro to climbing, indoor to outdoor, learn to lead, self rescue, guided climbs and much more. Our mountain courses are based in Snowdonia national park and include scrambling skills, hill walking and navigation skills and private guided adventures.

We deliver all of our climbing courses in Dorset, one of the warmest and driest climbing destinations in the UK. The Jurassic coast offers thousands of routes of all grades in some stunning coastal environments. We are only 2 hours from London with fantastic public transport links.

All of our instructors are extremely experienced and knowledgeable, all holding a minimum of the Mountain Instructor Award.
