Olga Heaney says [5/02]: "Unique beginners/training area, ideal for large groups. Grades for wall range from F2 to F7b/c. There are many courses available- 1 hour introductory/taster/belay. 10 hour (Modules)introductory course involving basic techniques, single pitch lead climbing, setting up belays, abseiling etc. 10 hour lead climbing involving multi-pitching, hanging belays, escaping the system etc. 10 hour advanced, 10 hour rescue courses and so on. Climbing clinics/coaching are also available, corporate training, groups, birthday parties etc."

EddieMcH [05/12/02]: Ropes are checked on a weekly basis. If you take a fall on a static rope you stop immediately; on a dynamic at the start of a route you could still deck out due to stretch alone. Why would you hang onto the top ply board as no one who uses the wall regularly or irregularly does? If you were leading there are clip ins at the top so again no need to use the board. As for the holds being too far apart, Olga set most of the routes and is a 5"6' woman - yet most of the people who complain that the moves are too far apart are 6 ft plus guys who believe that girls can't climb.
Over 90% of the routes have been changed in the last year and it is technically superior to most walls in its facilities for leading and most recently dry tooling. If the boards sound hollow that doesn't mean they're unsafe, just different as the excellent safety record at the wall attests. New ropes have now been introduced in certain areas which are easier to handle. [Eddie works at the wall - UKC Ed.]
