Have been climbing here for the past 3 months, reasonable wall that has recently been re-painted and re-routed. But they've now closed it apart from Thursday evening and Sat afternoon. No use to me, i suggest everyone tries the wall in Chi.
The wall is excellent for beginners and intermediates. I believe the wall is being refurbished this Christmas (2006) so it may well be worth a visit in the new year. Equipment can be hired and is reasonably priced. Always call before you go just to make sure that it is going to be open and that there are no group bookings!
Sound wall. Many of the routes starting to get a bit greasy and they are rarely changed. Many gradings are listed as 'TBA', and have been for at least a year. Never seen any staff that appear to know what they are doing, but there are a variety of routes, with some straying into more difficult territory. The bouldering wall gives a nice warm up and and all-week opening (bar Tuesdays) makes it an ideal place to pop in for a workout, particularly as it is cheap!

Good wall, can get a little cramped during the evenings.
Please note you will need five quickdraws to use the overhanging lead wall and these cannot be hired from the centre.
Visited the wall with my family on 05/Aug/2002. The rope lengths were fine. Krab+belay devices could be hired in addition to harnesses and helmets. I was only allowed to be responsible for up to two children. A chart on a noticeboard gave a good list of graded climbs, though I cannot comment on the accuracy of the E grades. The wall is available weekday evenings and weekends during the day.
