UKC

300m, 13 pitches. 4b, 3b, 4b, 4a, 4a, 5a, 5c+, 3b, 3b, 4a, 4a, 4b, 4b+.

A route honouring Dragutin Brahm, the first climber who attempted to climb the 350m high main wall of Anića kuk. He died during his solo attempt in 1938. This is the first established route on Anića kuk, climbed two years later by Slavko Brezovečki and Marijan Dragman following the line attempted by D. Brahm.

A classic route frequently climbed although not as popular as Mosoraški. It begins some 10m right of the Brahm memorial plate. In places the rock displays more of a red and broken alpine character than do most typical routes in Paklenica along with some vegetation. Some parts of the route are marked with red paint for easier orientation but far from making it a no-brainer. The crux pitch is infamous as a bottleneck so beware if there are slow parties above you and you're not ready to safely establish a lead position before they reach it. Some slings and wires will suffice you to safely climb around them in the lower part of the wall while not clipping their bolts. Once you're queued under the crux pitch the best thing you can do is nothing but wait for your turn.

S. Brezovecki, M. Dragman.
