Bowles is owned by the Bowles Rocks Trust (a non-profit making charity) and run as an outdoor education centre providing instructional courses as well as allowing members of the public to climb for a fee. All details aroud public access for climbing can be found on the Bowles Rocks website.
Rockfax Description
A wandering route following the vague ramp-line rightwards to a final bulge. This is commonly done via the left variation were by the right-hand and original finish is a poorer 6b. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
Step off the cairn and follow the rampline up and right. Finish via the niche. Pulling on the bolt here is cheating, as is pulling into the niche from its left-hand side.

βeta: Completely out of condition post lockdown. Bottom is a beach, middle is a forest, rope was set up for Four-by-two so ended up on a ledge with the anchor three metres to my left and the rope wrapped under a boulder. Spend five minutes desperately trying to find holds and clean the topout before commiting to the moves. Probably the most scared I've ever been on "top" rope. Great climb. | βeta? | |
